Wind engineering studies shall be applied to Architectural design at micro or micro level ranging from various stages covering masterplan level to building layouts and designs. BES has recently completed Cladding / Facade wind pressure studies for several tall buildings, which has helped the facade designs to achieve optimised and accurate estimation of Facade design wind pressures rather than conservative approach. This has resulted optimum design solutions with significant cost savings.

BES services on this discipline including natural ventilations studies,comfort studies, rain penetrations, etc,. For this BES team uses Advanced multi phase CFD techniques which will simulate airflow and water particles more accurately for micro level detailed study. Study of Wind and Rain for ventilations

Multi phase CFD simulation completed by BES to study the rain water penetration through an ventilation (louvred) opening. This has help the architect to verify the ventilation opening of the lift corridor, the simulation helped the team otherwise it requires expensive laboratory testing.
